Stephenville – Services for Charles Henry Sisson, 90, Truck Driver, will be held at 2:00 pm. Thursday, 12/11/2014, at Lacy Funeral Chapel with Rev. Pete Pharis and Rev. Dale Cartwright officiating. Burial will follow at Box Pony Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, 12/10/2014, at Lacy Funeral Home.
Charles was born in West Virginia on December 7, 1923 to Alonzo and Clara Sisson. He married Maveliene (Sally) Aycock on 2/2/1990, in Stephenville. A proud member of Calvary Baptist Church and an active member of the AA Group in Stephenville. Charles was a veteran of the United States Army, and fought in WWII.
Survivors include Wife, Maveliene (Sally) Sisson of Stephenville, Children Lee Sisson and wife Phyllis of Tampa FL, Mike Schriner of Sugar Grove, OH, Charles H. Sisson, Jr. and wife Grace of Cleveland, OH, Rick Dittoe and wife Connie, Richard Sisson, Marvin Sisson, David Sisson and wife Debra all of Stephenville, TX, Tina Billingsley, and husband Kelly of West Columbia, TX, sister Bessie Almondinger and husband George of Marion, OH, numerous grandchildren, and several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to Grace Place @ the First Baptist Church and The Stephenville Senior Citizens.
