Charles Heston Bales, born in Glen Rose September 20, 1928 to parents Nate and Nola Bales, passed away in Hamilton January 30, 2015 at age 86. Charles also known as Heston loved the Lord and knew his Bible very well and enjoyed the discussion and challenging of others with the scriptures. Preceding Heston were is parents, son Jessie Heston Bales and two sisters. Heston is survived by his wife of 54 years, Hazel Bales, children; Todd Andrew Bales and wife Shirley, Clifton Bales, Modina Bales Keller and husband James, Elton Bales, Milton Bales and wife Patty, 11 grandchildren.
Service Information:
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. in Squaw Creek Cemetery – Glen Rose, under the direction of Harvest Hills Funeral Home in Hico.
