Annual Stephenville Chamber Banquet to be ‘A Fairy Tale Experience’

STEPHENVILLE (February 3, 2015) — Just one day after invitations for the Stephenville Chamber of Commerce’s annual Chamber Banquet, held in City Hall at City Limits, hit mailboxes, Chamber Executive Director July Danley said they were completely sold out.

“I’m pretty sure there is not another community in the country that has such amazing chamber members,” a Chamber member email said. “We are officially sold out!”

The annual event is always well attended by the residents and business owners of Stephenville, and the themes for the event are always an exciting topic of conversation in the community for months leading up to it. This year’s theme is “Once Upon a Time: A Fairy Tale Experience,q” and the community helped the Chamber sell out of tickets like it was a pop concert for the second year in a row!

“On behalf of our entire Chamber staff and board of directors, we would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to our amazing Chamber members for the excitement they have shown for our annual fundraising banquet,” Danley said. “We appreciate the generous support of the business community.”

Danley also said there were more than 50 members who have signed up to decorate tables for the banquet, which will begin at 6 p.m. on Friday, February 27. Decorating a table is a great chance for chamber members to get their business in front of event goers and show off their creative side. Votes are cast on the best, most creative table decorations, and awards are given out during the event.

If you didn’t get your tickets in time, or if you are looking for a way to get your business in front of more than 500 members of the Stephenville community, the Chamber is still accepting donations for the silent auction that is held in conjunction with the banquet.
