Staff Report

STEPHENVIILLE (February 15, 2015) — Stephenville ISD has a light agenda for Monday’s regular meeting of its board of trustees, highlighted by proclamations recognizing Henderson Junior High UIL academic champions. The meeting begins at 5:30 p.m. at Bond Auditorium.

Investment policy and strategy, a budget development calendar and and a board policy update in accordance with the Texas Association of School Boards make up the rest of the agenda, in addition to the monthly superintendent’s report from Matt Underwood.

Under items Underwood will discuss in his report are a potential special called meeting at noon on Friday, March 6, which follows the timeline by which the first-year superintendent hopes to have a lone finalist to present to trustees as new athletic director and head football coach.

There is a closed session listed on Monday’s agenda, but such has become the norm since Underwood became superintendent.
