Callie JoAnn Langston was born August 22, 1933 to Bessie Oscar and Ethel May Turner in Taylor County. She married Jimmy Odell Langston on May 27, 1950. JoAnn was a member of the Church of Christ and a lifelong resident of Texas.
Memorial services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, February 21, 2015 at Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel with Don Parker officiating.
JoAnn is survived by son, Jerry Langston and wife Gayle of Santa Fe, New Mexico; daughter, Sherrie Barton of Stephenville, Texas; son, Clyde Langston and wife Sharrie of Mustang, OK; grandchildren, Gerald Barton and wife Kendra of Parker, Colorado; J.J. Barton and wife Lacy of Bluff Dale, Texas; Shathar Bates and husband Ryan of Mustang, Oklahoma; Cortney Langston and wife Nicole of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Jylene Leegard of Brooklyn Park, Minnesota; great-grandchildren, Tyler Barton, Cole Barton, Tanner Barton, Austin Barton, Lana Barton, Langston Bates, Collison Bates, Kellen Bombach, Wren Langston; and numerous nieces and nephews.
JoAnn was preceded in death by her parents, Bessie Oscar and Ethel Turner, brothers Elmer, Kenneth, Roy and J.B.; sisters, Ida V, Lillian, Gola, Vivian and Maudie, and husband Jimmy Langston.
