STEPHENVILLE (March 15, 2015) — In a fitting end to a banner season in the Lone Star Conference, the men’s South Central Region Championship is down to a pair of LSC powers.

Tarleton State (29-3) hosts Angelo State at 7 p.m. Tuesday, with the Texans trying to reach their third Elite Eight and ASU hoping for its first. The Elite Eight is March 25-28 at the Ford Center in Evansville, Indiana.

Tarleton and ASU are two of the four LSC teams that won more than 20 games this season, the first time that has happened in at least 17 years.

Here’s how they stack up as they try to take their seasons from ‘sweet’ to ‘elite.’
