(April 7, 2015) — Stephenville scored three runs on wild pitches and turned back Graham 4-2 at Cecil Ballow Baseball Complex Tuesday evening.

Josh Bulla turned in a gritty performance to earn the win on the mound, despite not having his best command. He limited Graham to two runs on two hits over five innings, off-setting six walks with five strikeouts. Ben Martin, who on Sunday committed to Navarro College, earned the save with two shutout innings of relief.

Bradley Morrison swatted an RBI single and Maddux Conger scored from second base on a wild pitch to provide Stephenville a 2-0 lead in the bottom of the first, but Graham evened up in the next half inning.

The Jackets scored twice more on wild pitches in the fourth, before pitching and defense controlled the rest of the night.

Morrison was 2-for-3 from the plate and was the only Yellow Jacket with multiple hits. Stephenville had six hits, Graham just four.

Stephenville, now 2-1 in 6-4A, hosts Brownwood in a district game at 7:30 p.m. Friday, following a junior varsity contest at 4:30 p.m.
