STEPHENVILLE (April 28, 2015) — Stephenville is down to its final game in the 6-4A baseball race, and it’s a big one.

With Stephenville’s trip to Brownwood and a game between Mineral Wells and Graham being the only contests remaining on the 6-4A schedule, three of the league’s four playoff spots are still on the line, and each of those four teams are fighting to secure them.

Stephenville and Brownwood have had their game postponed due to rain. They will play Wednesday at 7:30 p.m., following a junior varsity game.

District champ Abilene Wylie is the only team with its district season complete. Behind Wylie, Stephenville and Mineral Wells are each 3-4 in league play, while Brownwood and Graham are each 2-5.

Stephenville clinches a playoff spot with a win Wednesday, and can finish no lower than the No. 3 seed.
