STEPHENVILLE (April 29, 2015) — Stephenville is all set for the Region I-4A softball playoffs after clinching the No. 3 seed from 6-4A.

The Honeybees face 5-4A runner-up Burkburnett, a perennial power, in a best-of-three series beginning Friday and Saturday in Graford. Game 1 is 6:30 p.m. Friday with Game 2 and, if necessary, Game 3 set for a doubleheader beginning at 3 p.m. Saturday.

Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for students. District and coaches association passes will be accepted.

The Honeybees defeated Brownwood 4-2 Tuesday evening in Glen Rose to clinch the No. 3 spot. Freshman Julia Flores tossed a two hitter from the circle, scored two runs and drove in one to lead the way. Emily Miller and Rainey Boase also drove in runs for the Bees.

The bi-district series winner meets Decatur or Alvarado in the area round.
