Ethel Pauline ‘Memo’ Owens, 102, of Stephenville, passed away Wednesday, June 17, 2015 in Stephenville.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, June 20, 2015 at Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel, with Marvin Happy Toler officiating. Interment will follow at the Desdemona Cemetery. Visitation will begin at
10:00 AM Saturday, one hour prior to services.

Pauline was born on April 8, 1913 in Erath County, to the late John T. and Dollie Toler Robinson. She married, to J. C. Owens in June 1934, in Eastland County. J. C. preceded her in death on February 14, 1944. Pauline was a member of the Church of Christ, and had lived most of her life in Erath County. Pauline worked as a photography painter with Miller’s Studio in Stephenville for many years.

Survivors include her son, Dean and wife Susie Owens of Granbury; daughter-in-law, Marilyn Owens of Stephenville; brother, Lawrence ‘Bruz’ Robinson of Stephenville; grandchildren, Letatia Teykl of Mansfield, Paula and husband Mike Turnbow of Springtown, Tommy and wife Sue Owens of Stephenville, Dianna Robison and her friend Richard Johnson of Independence, Kansas, Pam & husband J. B. McGinty of Burleson; great grandchildren, Carson, Curtis, Chris, Melissa, Jason, Jennifer, Brent, Jamie, and Tiffany; 18 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Pauline was also preceded in death by her son, Terry Owens, on September 12, 1998.
