Stephenville couldn’t get on track offensively against Aledo, with Jones and McLeroy hooking up for the only Yellow Jacket score. Aledo avenged a loss to Stephenville two weeks earlier at SHS.

The Yellow Jackets are done with what amounts to the regular season in 7-on-7 and compete in the state tournament at Veterans Park and Athletic Complex in College Station Thursday, July 9, and Friday, July 10.

Stephenville reached state on its first attempt at the McGregor State Qualifier Tournament.
