Ranger College will get a head start on the 2015 Fall semester on July 23 when school officials hosted the second of their three freshman orientation meetings on the college’s main campus in Ranger. During the day-long event, incoming freshmen, along with their parents, will be given an in-depth overview of the campus, its resources and operation.
The orientation session begins at 9 a.m. as prospective students are introduced to various college officials during a welcome ceremony in the Golemon Library. From there, students will divided into groups and given with a tour of the campus, as well as have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the business, athletic, student housing, financial aid and student support service divisions.
Lunch will be served to all students and parents at noon on the River of Life Student Activity Center.
Ranger College will host another freshman orientation class on the main campus in August. The Fall semester will begin on Aug. 24.
