Taylor Garber connected on 17 assists, while Chelsea Gillespie had her second straight match with 14 assists and eight digs.

Because of odd scheduling with a 22-team field, the Honeybees had to play a pool crossover contest against Burleson Centennial, and it proved to be nothing more than a cool-down to end the day. Conger had eight kills, Hobbs five, Fredrickson five, Stilwell three and Seaton two. Seaton also had five blocks while Stilwell stuffed three, and Fredrickson aced three serves.
