“It’s clear that Tarleton attracts the best and brightest students in increasing numbers,” said Tarleton President Dr. F. Dominic Dottavio. “We are a student-focused university dedicated to providing a real-world, high-quality educational experience at an affordable price at our locations in Stephenville, Fort Worth, Waco, Midlothian and online.”

Increases in the number of returning students indicates that Tarleton’s retention rates continue to climb, Dottavio noted. “Our students tell us time and time again that our quality faculty, personal attention and family atmosphere are defining characteristics of a Tarleton education.”

The College of Business Administration remains Tarleton’s largest college with 2,929 students, a 4-percent increase. The College of Science and Technology is very close behind with 2,925, up 7 percent, and the College of Education ranks third among the university’s five colleges with 2,825 students and the largest enrollment increase at 11 percent.
