Stephenville – Services for Bobby Charles Lewis, 81, salesman for Borden’s Milk, will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, October 3, 2015, at Martin Funeral Home in Granbury with Rev. Keith Lewis officiating. Burial will follow at 2:00 P.M. at Restland Cemetery in Dallas. Visitation will be held from 6-8:00 P.M. Friday, October 2, 2015, at Martin Funeral Home Chapel in Granbury. Arrangements are by Lacy Funeral Home.
Bobby was born in Paulýs Valley, Oklahoma, on January 11, 1934 to Charles William Lewis and Beulah L. Talley. He married Betty Jean Atterberry on November 29, 1951, in Dallas.
He is Pentecostal.
Survivors include: Wife; Betty Jean Lewis of Granbury; daughter; Vickie Jean Allen of Aubrey,TX; son; Bobby Keith and wife, LaDonna of Granbury, son; Charles Kenneth and wife, Valerie of Stephenville, 8 grandchildren; Jason Hinkel and wife, Angela, Joshua Hinkel and wife, Shawna, Justin Hinkel, Brian Lewis, Christie (Lewis) Spoede, Michelle (Lewis) Cortez and husband, Amos, Jerrod Caskey and wife, Amber, Jeremy Caskey and wife, Michelle. 15 great-grandchildren; sister; Minnie Miller of Melissa, Texas, and a host of extended family members, whom he loved. He is preceded in death by his infant daughter, Bobbie Sue Lewis; his parents, Charles and Beulah Lewis, his sister, Hazel Vermillion and his sister, Mildred Funderburk.
