(September 30, 2015) — The Ranger College rodeo team turned in a stellar outing this past weekend at the Sul Ross State University rodeo in Alpine. The RC wranglers took first in three events.
“We are proud of the teams, both men and women,” said RC rodeo coach Llew Rust. “They are competing well.”
Trevor Kirchenschlager and Makayla Boisjoli took first place in the team roping. Another Ranger team, consisting of Ky Bray and Cody Falcon, took second.
Zack Campbell claimed first in the Bareback Riding standings.
Amanda Hodges placed in the Breakaway roping, tying for first in the first round.
The RC men’s team finished fourth in the overall standings.
