(October 8, 2015) — Lingleville’s boys are in the top 10 and several other teams are also ranked in the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches preseason polls, released Wednesday.

Lingleville has four starters returning from a team that went 26-7 and won its third consecutive area championship. The Cardinals have a new leader with veteran Doug Galyean taking over as head coach.

Both Huckabay teams are in the top 20 in the top 25 polls. The Lady Indians, who went 21-10 last season, are No. 15, while the Indians, fresh off a 21-13 season, are No. 20. Both captured area titles last spring.

Stephenville is also fresh off an area title with its girls club, which is ranked No. 18 in the preseason rankings.
