Adelia Pearl Turney was born on January 16, 1933 in Terry Co., Texas. She went to be with her LORD on October 30, 2015 at the age of 82 years, 9 months and 14 days. She was the daughter of Charles Ethan and Letha Bartley. She was united in marriage to Windle O. Turney on December 22, 1948 in Meadow, Texas and to this union 4 children were born. She was preceded in death by one son, Kelly Don Turney.

She is survived by her husband, Windle O. Turney of Dublin, Texas; her son, Gary Turney of Dublin, Texas; her daughter, Sharlyn Mitts of Tennessee; her son, David Turney of Purves, Texas; 9 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren; her sister, Mildred Wenzel of Brownfield, Texas; her brothers, Lonnie Bartley of Houston, Ronnie Bartley of Brownfield, Texas and Thomas Bartley of Orange Co., California; and a host of other relatives and many friends who will miss her dearly.

She was a Cook for several Nursing Homes and a Member of the Baptist Church.
