STEPHENVILLE (November 12, 2015) — A Federal Bureau of Investigation public information officer from the Dallas office confirmed Thursday morning that agents were in Stephenville searching a residence – the VOIOTX house on Tarleton Street – as part of an ongoing investigation.

While he could not release any details, the FBI official did confirm no arrests had been made as of Thursday morning.

Stephenville Police public information officer Lt. Doug McClammy told The Flash SPD officers set up a perimeter at the request of the FBI but did not aid in the search or investigation.

The Flash first received a tip that federal agents had entered the home at approximately 7 a.m. Thursday. By 9 a.m. agents and local police had cleared the scene. At this time VOIOTX is not believed to be the center of the ongoing FBI investigation, as officers worked with resident and VOIOTX President Jonathan Weiss before leaving the residence.

The Flash will have further information as soon as it is made available by the FBI.
