(November 16, 2015) — Double digit scoring outbursts by Presli Bray, Tiffany Lopez and Bailey Woolridge helped Huckabay win its second straight to open the girls basketball campaign Friday night.

Bray had 11 points by the end of the first quarter and led everyone with 18 in the 76-33 win over Blanket. Lopez added 14 and Woolridge 12 for the Lady Indians, who were consistent with 18 and 19 points in the first two quarters and 20 and 19 over the last two.

Trinity Meador and Taylor Lowe each scored eight, Savanna Graves six, Narda Fragoza four, Kailin Dowell four and Ciara Philips two.

Huckabay visits Graford Tuesday night, when its boys team will also tip off the season. The girls play about 6:30 p.m. and the boys about 8 p.m. following a 5 p.m. junior varsity girls game.
