STEPHENVILLE (November 16, 2015) — After winning the district championship with a perfect league record, Stephenville earned three special awards and placed eight other Honeybees along the 6-4A all-district roster that was released Monday.

The Honeybees have three first-team selections in senior setter Chelsea Gillespie, senior outside hitter Kerstin Fredrickson and senior outside hitter Kaleigh Conger. Senior Mikayla Hobbs, an outside hitter, and junior middle Nicona Stilwell are second-team selections, while juniors Taylor Garber, a setter, and Emily Brandon, an outside hitter, earned spots on the honorable-mention list.

The Bees won their fourth straight area championship and reached their first regional tournament since 2012. They were defeated by No. 1 Bushland in four sets in the regional semifinals last Friday at The Coliseum in Snyder.
