FUNERAL SERVICES: 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, December 16, 2015, at Comanche Funeral Home Chapel.

VISITATION: 7:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, December 15, at the funeral home.

BURIAL: Hazeldell Cemetery in Comanche County.

LUNCH: Family will have lunch at Gustine United Methodist Church following the funeral services.

Leo Conaway Haggard, age 92, passed away on Saturday, December 12, 2015, in Dublin, Texas.

He was born on April 5, 1923, in Comanche County, Texas, to Samuel Woodie Haggard and Jewell Zara Gray. He was a lifelong resident of Comanche County, Texas, and a member of the First United Methodist Church of Gustine, Texas. He was a farmer and rancher. Leo graduated from Gustine High School and attended Ranger Junior College. He married Golda Marie Gallant on August 3, 1942 and served in the South Pacific during World War II. Leo was a mason for 70 yrs., and Past Master of Fleming Lodge of Gustine and a member of the Hope Lodge in Comanche. He was the recipient of the Golden Trowell Award and earned a Lifetime certificate in 2002.

He is survived by his wife, Golda (Gallant) Haggard of Dublin; two daughters, Patricia Ann Bell and husband David of Norman, OK; Lenora Marie Davis and husband Danny of Gustine; one daughter-in-law, Peggy Ann Haggard of Gustine; 9 grandchildren; 24 great-grand children; 4 great-great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by a son, Bob Haggard; parents, Samuel Woodie Haggard and Jewell Zara Gray Haggard; two brothers, R.J. Haggard and George Haggard; and one sister, Loyce Haggard Campbell.
