Stephenville – Graveside services for W C Shelton, 74, retired senior engineer at Lockheed Martin, will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, January 7, 2016, at Indian Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 6, 2016, at Lacy Funeral Home.
WC was born in Stephenville, Texas on August 27, 1941 to Willard Clifton Shelton and Frankie (Baker) Shelton. He married Rita Nell Packwood on March 1, 1969, at Rocky Point Baptist Church in Stephenville, Texas.
Survivors include his wife, Rita Nell (Packwood) Shelton of Stephenville, daughter; Lavonna Renell Nix of Stephenville, son; Wade Clifton Shelton of Stephenville, sister; Linda Sue Land of Stephenville. He was preceded in death by his parents; Willard and Frankie Shelton, and his sister; Gina Renee Gaither.
