STEPHENVILLE (February 3, 2016) — The Flash Today is proud to announce the addition of decorated news journalist Amanda Kimble to its growing staff.
Kimble, a three-time Texas Press Association Small Dailies Division News Writer of the Year, brings a wealth of experience covering everything from breaking news to city beats and feature writing. She will be covering general assignments and breaking news for The Flash.

We have members of our Flash team who have worked with Amanda before, so we understand and fully appreciate the relationships and connections she has throughout our coverage area,” said Flash Publisher Jessie Horton. “Amanda has proven herself to be a talented news writer and a hard worker. I can’t wait to see what she brings to the table and how her role grows along with The Flash.”
Kimble was most recently in broadcasting and sales for KWBY, a local FM radio station. She resides in Stephenville with her two daughters.
