Editor’s Note: Tarleton State visits Eastern New Mexico Wednesday for a Lone Star Conference basketball doubleheader. Tarleton women (14-9, 8-5) at Eastern New Mexico (10-13, 5-8)

LAST TIME OUT
Led by 19 points from Bailey Wipff and a career-high seven blocks from Breanna Fuller, Tarleton has pushed its winning streak to five in a row with a 61-53 victory over Texas A&M-Kingsville Saturday night. Fuller flirted with a double-double despite only having three rebounds, scoring 10 points and her career-high seven blocked shots.

THE OPPONENT
Eastern New Mexico continues to move upward as a program under third year head coach Josh Prock. The Greyhounds have already topped last season’s win total (9) by winning 10 games in a season for the first time since 2006-07. Led by 12.5 and 11.9 points per game from Kassandra Harris and Sarah Stinnett, respectively, the Greyhounds have won their last two games entering Wednesday.

THE SERIES
Tarleton is 31-12 all-time against Eastern New Mexico, including 12-7 in Portales. Tarleton has won eight straight against Eastern New Mexico in Portales, dating back to Feb. 6, 2008.

STREAKING vs EASTERN
Tarleton has won 18 straight games against the Greyhounds, formerly the Zias, dating back to Feb. 6, 2008. Over than span, Tarleton has won eight straight against Eastern New Mexico at Greyhound Arena in Portales.

WINNING FIVE IN A ROW
Tarleton has won its fifth straight game for the first five-game winning streak of Misty Wilson‘s head coaching career. Tarleton has had a five-fame winning streak in seven of the last eight seasons, dating back to 2008-09.

FOURTH-QUARTER SHOOTING
Over the last five games – all victories – Tarleton is shooting .533 from the floor in the fourth quarter, which is an improvement from the .387 shooting percentage from the first 18 games of the season. Over the last five, Tarleton has three starters shooting over .600 in the fourth quarter – Fuller (.667), Iwobi (.600), and Wipff (.600).

THE RACE TO 100 3’S
Tarleton has nine players in its history, and just four since 2004, with 100 career 3-pointers. Entering Wednesday’s game, the TexAnns have three players within four triples from the century mark. Bailey Wipff and Raven McGrath have 97 career 3-balls while Meagan O’Dell enters the game with 96.

Tarleton men (17-7, 6-5) at Eastern New Mexico (6-17, 2-9)

LAST TIME OUT
Tarleton defeated Texas A&M-Kingsville 76-63 at home to improve to 17-7 overall and 6-5 in the Lone Star Conference

THE OPPONENT: EASTERN NEW MEXICO
Eastern New Mexico 6-17 on the season and 2-9 in the Lone Star Conference. The Greyhounds are in the midst of a 3-game losing streak and but is 3-3 at home this season. The Greyhounds are led by Lawrence Domingo’s 11.6 points per game.

THE SERIES: EASTERN NEW MEXICO
In the Lonn Reisman era (1988), Tarleton is 39-7 against ENMU and 39-8 all time since the series began in 1964. Tarleton won the last meeting 89-71 in Stephenville. Tarleton has won eight straight against ENMU and 17 of 18. Tarleton has won two straight on the road against ENMU and 8 of 9 in Portales. Tarleton is 16-5 all time at ENMU.

CLIMBING UP THE RECORD CHART
4-year Texan Michael Hardge, who has 312 career assists, passed Tracy Guy for 6th all time. Hardge needs 5 assists to pass Glen Schuelke for 5th place. Hardge’s 111 steals rank 9th all time and needs 3 steals to pass Jim Moreno for 8th all time.

SINGLE SEASON SWATS
Xavier Smith has 51 blocks in his first season with Tarleton. The junior forward ranks 13th on the single-season blocks list and needs 2 blocks to pass Donald Buckler for 12th. Vincent Bridgewater holds the record with 81.

MILESTONE WATCH
Michael Hardge needs 39 points for 900 in his career.
EJ Reed needs 6 points for 750 in his career.
EJ Reed needs 4 assists for 50 in his career.

ELITE COMPANY
Michael Hardge leads the LSC in assists at 4.8 per game. Hardge would join Chuck Guy (6.1 in 13-14) and Chris Reisman (6.08 in 00-01) as the only Texans to do so since 2000. Hardge is also 2nd in the LSC in steals at 1.7 per game. Hardge would become the first Texan to lead the LSC in steals since the LSC stats became available in 1999.

DOUBLE DIGIT SCORERS
Tarleton has four players averaging at least 10 points per game in EJ Reed (18.3), Charles Hill (12.8),Michael Hardge (11.3) and Malcolm Hamilton (10.5). It’s the first time since 2010-11 that the Texan have four double-digit scorers when Devon Hills (13.0), Effran Bryant (12.1), Corin Henry (11.8) and Jeremiah Wilson (10.8) did so.

SUCCESS AGAINST THE GREYHOUNDS
Tarleton has had a player top 20 points against Eastern New Mexico in seven straight games. Tashawn Mabry 31; Mo Lee 26; Malcolm Ham- ilton 21; Deandre Upchurch 23, 38; Chuck Guy 24, 21;Charles Hill 22.

WINNING SEASONS
At 17-7 this season, Tarleton has guaranteed themselves a winning record. Lonn Reisman has now guided Tarleton to 15 straight winning seasons in the NCAA era, and 19 out of 20. Tarleton has finished at least .500 or better in 20 straight seasons.

CLIMBING THE ALL-TIME WINS LIST
Reisman comes into the game with 606 wins. Reisman became the 6th active Division II head coach with 600 career wins and the 16th Division II coach to win 600 games in a career. Reisman passed Dave Boots (Ausburg, 603 wins) for 15th on the all-time wins list. Reisman needs 13 wins to pass Tom Smith (Mo. Western State) for 14th all time.
