Tillman Wayne Cain, Jr., born November 30, 1943 in Clifton, Texas to parents Tillman Wayne Cain, Sr. and Dorothy Avo Mounce Cain, passed away in Ft. Worth, Texas on February 24, 2016 at the age of 72. Tillman was known by family and friends by Wayne, Dad and Paw. Wayne loved his family and enjoyed his work so much that it didn’t seem like work. Wayne was known as a loyal person, devoted to his family and his career in ranching, working for thirty years for an employer he loved and respected. Wayne left his family an example of honesty, commitment, and an exceptional work ethic. Preceded in death are his parents and one sister LaJune Sojourner. Surviving Wayne is wife Francis Cain of Hico, daughters, Penny Baldridge and husband Tommy if Hico, Kelli Marshall and husband Stanley of Plainview, Margaret Shackelford and husband Kelly of Bowie, grandsons, Jeffery Graham and wife Briana of Perrin, Samuel Cain Graham and wife Brianna of Dilley, Wayne Cain Marshall and wife Mattisan of Plainview, Carter Wayne Shackelford of Bowie, Davis Shackelford of Bowie, granddaughters, Bailey Smiley and husband Zal of Plainview, Anndi Marshall of Plainview, great grandsons, Cooper, Hucklen, Kanyon, great granddaughters Hilton, Mia, Zayla, Paisley, and Piper. Wayne is also survived by brother, Dennis Cain and wife Janie of Walnut Springs, sister Connie Townley of Walnut Springs, numerous nieces, nephews and a host friends. Visitation 6-8 pm, Thursday, February 25, 2016 at Harvest Hills Funeral Home. Services 2:00pm, Friday, February 26, 2016 at Church of Christ, Hico, Texas. Burial to follow at Fulton, Cemetery near Iredell, Texas.

Service Information

 Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, February 25, at Harvest Hills Funeral Home, located at 118 Second Street in Hico. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, February 26, at the Hico Church of Christ, located at 301 Pecan Street in Hico, with burial in the Fulton Cemetery in Walnut Springs.
