FRISCO (March 22, 2016) Tarleton State spent part of its Tuesday morning giving back to the Frisco community that is hosting the Texans and other qualifiers for the NCAA Division II Men’s Basketball Elite Eight.
Tarleton players met with students at Robertson Elementary School, discussing the importance of teamwork, education and sportsmanship.
Tarleton faces Augustana (SD) in the third of four national quarterfinal games at 6 p.m. Wednesday. Games begin at noon at Dr Pepper Arena. If the Texans win, they advance to a semifinal game at 8:30 p.m. Thursday. The championship tips off at 2 p.m. Saturday.
