Visitation will be from 10-10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 18, at the Stephenville Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. in the Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Erath County Gardens of Memory Cemetery.

Audie was born on November 6, 1921 in Fairy, Texas to the late M. E. and Nora Mae Baker Parks. He married Ruth Douglas on October 17, 1969 in Fairy. Ruth preceded him in death on February 9, 2002. Audie served during WWII in the U. S. Army in Europe from 1942 to 1945 receiving the Bronze Star. He was a member of the Graham Street Church of Christ, Disable Veterans, and was a lifelong resident of Stephenville. He was a T. V. repairman.

Audie is survived by his sister, Cleyone Parks Miller of Fort Worth; sons, Dave and wife Anita Hale of Bluff Dale, and Joe and wife Mary Parks of Port Orchard, Washington; grandchildren, Michael and wife Wendy Hale, Jennifer and husband Travis Moore, and Autumn and husband Jon Bryant; great grandchildren, Piper, Avery, Jacob, Joey, Ashley, and Emily; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents and wife, Audie was also preceded in death by a daughter, Susan Parks Clark, 4 sisters, and 1 brother.
