(July 13, 2016) — Even shorthanded, the Stephenville Stingrays managed to accumulate 13 victories in swim competition in Mineral Wells last weekend.
The Stingrays are now preparing for the all-important regional meet, where swimmers compete for spots at the 2016 Texas Amateur Athletic Federation Summer Games of Texas.
Dillon Barber and Robert LeBoeuf won three times each in Mineral Wells and Cord Leamons celebrated two victories. Single race winners included Dawna Aranda, Manuel Briseno, Sophie Fowler, Mya Wesley and Sophie Ballow.
The Stingrays won 13 times without talented leader Hannah Truesdell, who won three events her last time to compete.
