Laura Jane Fouts, born April 4, 1929 in Iredell, Texas to parents Fred and Myrtle (MacNally) Blackburn, passed away in Hico, Texas, July 15, 2016. Ms Fouts was a graduate of Iredell High School and was devoted to her family and friends. She was a nurse and member of First United Church of Hico. Preceding Laura in death were her parents, husband John B. Fouts, and son John Willis Fouts. Surviving Laura are son Steve Fouts, granddaughter Addie Fouts, and numerous nieces, nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, July 18, 2016, in the Hico Cemetery.
