Weatherford – Graveside services for George H. McCleskey, 78, utility repairman, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 27, 2016, at Hico Cemetery with Rev. Ward Mays officiating. Burial will follow at Hico Cemetery. Arrangements are by Lacy Funeral Home.
George was born in Patillo, Texas on March 1, 1938 to Joseph Benson McCleskey and Eva Lee (McPherson) McCleskey.
He was an Army veteran and a member of the Coast Guard.
Survivors include Helen McCleskey, Cindy and Thomas D. McKay, Barry and Jana McCleskey, Vanessa and Ray Roden, Cecil Lynn and Deanne Harmon, 11 grandchildren, and his brother, Kenneth.
He was preceded in death by Tim Joe Harmon, Ricky McCleskey, and James McCleskey, and brothers; Wendell, Donald, and J.B.
