STEPHENVILLE (August 3, 2016) — Kevin Wilson is back in the game and so is Huston Academy.

The former Stephenville High School defensive coordinator has returned to town and is the head coach of the Huston Academy football program, which after playing six-man two seasons then taking a year off is bringing the sport back in its 11-man form.

Huston currently has nine out for practice, but Wilson and superintendent Mike Scott say more boys are on the way as school approaches.

Everything is being taught from the beginning, with Wilson spending part of Wednesday morning focused on huddling properly and sending in plays from the sideline.

“You gotta start somewhere,” Wilson said. “You gotta start somewhere, establish a foundation and build from there.”
