STEPHENVILLE (August 7, 2016) – Hundreds of community members gathered their families alongside law enforcement officers and first responders with their families to honor and support two Erath County Sheriff’s Office employees who are facing health issues.
Saturday evening the large crowd enjoyed a delicious BBQ dinner with all the fixings, live music and dancing. There were a silent and live auction, with all the proceeds from the event going to help Sgt. Cody Keith and Deputy Dustin Paulsen.
Keith faces a battle with cancer bravely, but his family needs some assistance taking on the cost of the fight. While Paulsen was badly injured in an accident on duty in April and is currently working to get his health back.
