Charles “Guy” Huggins, 86, of Stephenville, died Monday, August 29, 2016 in Stephenville.

Guy was born on May 11, 1930 in Kansas City, Missouri, to the late Charles Guy and Beulah Margaret Huggins. He was a member of the Presbyterian faith, an avid story teller, member of the NRA, and in 50’s and 60 was very active with the Boy Scouts of America. Guy served his country in the Army Air Corps enlisting in 1948. He loved raising cattle, and was one of the first instructors in the State of Texas to teach consealed hand gun courses. Guy retired after several years as a civil instructor with Texas Utilities.

Guy is survived by his son, Stephen Huggins of Stephenville; daughter, Rose Anne Suggett of Lincoln, Nebraska; grandchildren, Jennifer and husband Greg Littlejohn, Steffani and husband Brad Parr, Natalie and husband Jody Benham, Melissa and husband Stephen Nowak, Kristin and husband Gilbert Aguilar, and Kevin and wife Brittany Huggins; great grandchildren, Courtney, Jarrod, Haven, McKenna, Avery, Drake, Krece, Kassidy, Ryder, Paisley, Paden, Hunter, Brooklynn, Chris, Kayla, Zoey, and Case; great great grandchild, Camden; and a sister, Beulah Douglas of Arlington.

Besides his parents, Guy was also preceded in death by 3 sisters, Charlene Heizman, Naomi Bardiau, and Betty Smith, and by an infant son.

The Huggins family will have a private family memorial service at a latter date.
