U.S. VeteranMildred Laverne Hall, age 82, passed away on Thursday, September 29, 2016, in Canon City, Colorado.

She was born on Friday, December 29, 1933, in Pottsville, Texas, to Jimmie and Gracie  (Kincheloe) Reeves.  She was a long-term resident of Gustine, from 1962 to 2009. On July 14, 1951, she was united in marriage to Harrold (Bill) Dean Hall in Lampasas.  He preceded her in death on March 15, 1993.  Mildred enjoyed a long career with the Josten Ring Company as a lead engraver and in later years put her artistic talent to work drawing abstract pictures.  She a loving mother, a kind and caring person, and she kept her family and friends entertained with her bright personality and quick wit.  She also loved western movies especially John Wayne who she loved dearly because John Wayne reminded her of her late husband. She was a dedicated member of the Church of Christ.

She is survived by her Son, Nathan Hall of Cleburne; grandson, Nattrix Hall of Granbury; son-in-law, Mark Kellar of Canon City, Colorado; sister, Deanie Goines and brother Larry Kincheloe.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Lydia Kellar, her son, Darryl Hall, and also with her parents,  two sisters, Mary Lee and Thelma Biles, and one brother, Gary Kincheloe.

A graveside memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, October 15, 2016, at Union Cemetery in Comanche County with Rev. Steven Schulte officiating.
