Selections for the concert include the music of William McCulloch, Cole Porter, Irving Berlin, Jule Styne and Stephen Sondheim, George and Ira Gershwin, Thad Jones, Jerry Brock, Bobby Hebb, Antonio Carlos Jobim, W.C. Handy and Billy Strayhorn.

“It has been a tradition over the last several years to feature vocalists during our first concert,” Ball said. “It has become a very popular show that our students and audiences look forward to every year. The students had to audition to be part of this concert and then find time to rehearse with us. They really sound great!”

Tickets are $5 for adults and free for students, faculty and staff with a valid Tarleton ID. All seating is general admission, and tickets are available at the Fine Arts Box Office.
