STEPHENVILLE (October 11, 2016) – CB Sutton and Outcast Band came together 30 years ago and they have been performing traditional country dance music in the Cross Timbers and Stockyards area of Texas ever since.

One can dance to the Georges – Strait and Jones – and it may be followed by Alan Jackson or Merle Haggard.  Then you better get ready because that could be followed by Faron Young, Garth Brooks, Creedence Clearwater Revival or even ZZ Top.

The band is made up of CB Sutton of Stephenville, Karl Ladesic from Granbury, Gary VanY from Eagle Mountain Lake, James Robertson of Stephenville – by way of Hico – and Bob Pritchard from the Glen Rose area. CB is the lead singer/bass player and frontman of the band. Karl sings and plays a mean left-handed lead guitar. Gary plays drums. James plays fiddle. And Bob sings and plays guitar/steel guitar/fiddle.

Sutton and his “Outcasts” perform at City Limits in Stephenville every Sunday night from 5 to 9 p.m.  During this time there is plenty of great music, dancing and a potluck meal for $12 a person and domestic beer is $2.75.  If you would like to book the band, Sutton can be contacted at 254-485-3728.
