George Allen Hogan born March 14, 1946 to parents E.A. and Francis (Bullard) Hogan in Waco, Texas, passed away in Ft. Worth October 23, 2016 at the age of 70. George was also known as “Big George” or as “Bubba” loved hunting and fishing, his family and had a special love for the babies as George would say “ He never saw a baby of small child he didn’t want to hug. George was a graduate of Tremble Tech High and after life’s adventures chose to retire and move to Hico. Preceded in death by parents, E.A. and Francis Hogan, brother, Jackie Hogan, daughter Faith Hubbard and nephew David L. Hogan. Surviving George are daughter, Rebecca Aguilar and spouse Jeremy Garver, son, Richard Hogan and wife Maria, son Jonathan Hogan and wife Lauren, and son Christian Hogan. Also surviving George are nine grandchildren, brother David Hogan, brother Luther Hogan, sister Patricia Hartis, sister Debra Reis and many extended family members and friends.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, October 26, 2016, in the Hico Cemetery.
I know you are in a better place no more pain or suffering but I’ll miss you . One of my favorite memories of you is John and you taking hot rolls out of grandma Carey’s kitchen hoping you wouldn’t get caught but of course you did but you ran out the door laughing the whole time. Rest in peace my old frienduntil I see you again.
