Stephenville – Agnes Laney, 80, passed away in Stephenville on January 26, 2017. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements for cremation are by Lacy Funeral Home.
Agnes was born in Belle Fourche, South Dakota on August 6, 1936 to Betty and Jack Banigan. She married Gary Laney.
She was a member of Royal Lane Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas.
Survivors include her children, Steve Smith and wife, Mary of Olathe, Kansas, Carl Smith of Frisco, Texas, Alan Smith and wife, Carrie of Nixa, Missouri, and Scott Laney of Dallas, Texas; brother, John Key of Krum, Texas; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
