Wanda Nell Rumph, 84, of Stephenville, passed away Sunday, April 30, 2017 in Stephenville.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, May 4, 2017 at the Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel with Gary Williams officiating. Interment will follow at the Pony Creek Cemetery in Erath County. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
Wanda was born on February 10, 1933 in Carlton, Texas to the late Leland and Myrtle Rainwater Johnson. She married the love of her life John Ben Rumph on March 18, 1953 in Hico and together they raised two children. John preceded her in death on September 12, 2012. Wanda was a homemaker and worked side by side with John on the family farm. They moved back to the Stephenville area in 1973 after living in Ft. Worth. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Ft. Worth.
Survivors include a son, Byron Rumph of Stephenville; daughter, Beth Randolph and husband Spencer of Stephenville; grandchildren, Eli Randolph of Stephenville, Ashli Addison and husband Rhody of Hico, great-grandchildren, Hagan Randolph, Heston Randolph, Rhyder Addison, and Kambri Addison; brother, Tommy Johnson of Hico; sister, Bonnie Dowdy of North Richland Hills; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and loving friends.
