Texan Basseball Camp postponed until Thursday, Friday

STEPHENVILLE (June 4, 2017)  – Tarleton Texan Baseball Camp was originally scheduled to begin at the Cecil Ballow Baseball Complex tomorrow morning, but recent weather has forced a delay. The two-day camp will now take place Thursday-Friday, June 8-9.

The camp, which is led by Tarleton coaches Bryan Conger and Ben Buck, is a two-day fundamentals camp that provides instruction in all baseball fundamentals including fielding, hitting, pitching and sportsmanship. The fielding aspects will stress fielding and throwing as well as defensive positioning and communication. The hitting aspects stress fundamentals and mechanics as well as power and baserunning. Pitching will focus on fundamentals while sportsmanship will stress hustle, attitude and having fun the winning way.
