STEPHENVILLE (June 29, 2017) – In a private-public partnership, Ranger College Erath County Center has joined forces with Catholic Charities of Fort Worth to offer a scholarship program for 25 students that includes tuition assistance, job placement services upon graduation, and support services to help students navigate the challenges of higher education.  In order to provide comprehensive support to students, the partnership with Catholic Charities includes a full-time Education Specialist who will office at Ranger College Erath.

“Mr. Daniel Dalton joined us on campus this week and is ready to begin meeting students as well as taking applications for the scholarship program,” said Ranger Assistant Vice President, Mr. Matt Cardin. Dr. Jennifer Kent, Vice President of Ranger Erath County, reported that students who have become aware of the program are expressing their excitement at the amazing opportunity.

“In addition to the scholarship aid and academic monitoring, students will learn valuable life lessons such as getting out of debt, improving credit, and establishing savings,” Kent said.  Students who are interested in learning more about the program are encouraged to visit with Mr. Dalton or pick up an application at the Ranger office.
