(September 16, 2017) — Before our focus shifs to college football with Tarleton Sate visiting Angelo State in a  p.m. 6Lone Star Conference opener in San Angelo, let’s take a look back at what happened on the local high school gridiron Friday night.

SCORES FROM FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 15

Hico 35, Millsap 25 – Like Hamilton a week prior, the Tigers were pushed by Millsap, but also like their arch-rivals did, they escaped victoriously.

-De Leon 42, Cross Plains 19 – The Bearcats jumped ahead 42-7, making it through three weeks without a scare.

-Stephenville FAITH 58, Johnson Co. Sports Assn. 0 – The only reason this game made it to darkness is because FAITH touchdowns continuously stopped the clock. – See photo gallery below.

-Blum 54, Lingleville 48 – The Cardinals have been competitive in both their losses with a bye week between. they actually led this one 48-46 before Blum got the last laugh.
