Graveside Services for Velma Irene Thompson Ratliff Northcutt, 93, will be held at 3:30 p.m., Sunday, November 26, 2017, at Erath Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Saturday, November 25, 2017, at Lacy Funeral Home. Arrangements are by Lacy Funeral Home.
Irene was born in Erath County, Texas, on January 14, 1924, to Edgar R. and Mattie (Procter) Thompson. She married Floyd Clayton Ratliff who preceded her in death on October 7, 1976. She married Howard Northcutt who preceded her in death on August 25, 2008.
She was a member of Harvey Baptist Church.
Survivors include her children, Louise Armstrong of Victor, Texas, and Floyd Clayton Ratliff, Jr., and wife, Patty, of Comanche, Texas; stepsons, Wes Northcutt and wife Ann of Mansfield, Texas and Randy Northcutt; son-in-law, Connie M. Fair of Aledo, Texas; 13 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Gloria June Fair and Shirley Ann Sikes, two sisters, and two brothers.
