(May 10, 1926 – March 17, 2018)

Arminta Jane Weyrick Campbell Burks, age 91, of Crosby Texas, entered into heavenly rest on March 17, 2018, after a brief illness.

Graveside services will be held at Carlton Cemetery, Saturday, March 24, 2018 at 10:30AM. David Keith, pastor of Carlton Baptist Church, will officiate. Visitation will be 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, March 23rd at Stephenville Funeral Home.

Arminta was born May 10, 1926 to Walter Louis Weyrick and Florence Carter Weyrick in Duke, Oklahoma. She graduated from Mission High School, Mission, Texas. Arminta married Billy Gene Campbell on August 5, 1945. They were married 54 years. Arminta was later married Lonnie Burks for 5 years.
Arminta was a homemaker, Sunday school teacher, and a pastor’s wife for over 50 years. Her passion was for everyone to know that Jesus Christ died for them and wanted to bridge the gap between them and God. She shared this message to the end of her life.

Arminta was predeceased by her parents, 2 sisters, 1 brother and two husbands. She is survived by her daughter, Jane Holmes of Crosby, Texas and her son, George Campbell and wife Linda of Pittsburg, Texas. She is survived by 3 granddaughters Karen Holmes of Crosby, Texas, Kristine Koder and husband Josh of Pittsburg, Texas and Sara O’Neal and husband Lyle of Cleveland, Texas. Arminta is also survived by 6 great grandchildren: Wesley Koder, Justin Koder and wife Katherine, Daniel O’Neal, Lauren O’Neal, Rachel O’Neal and Hannah O’Neal. Great great grandchildren are Connor, Jace, Kaden and Emmie Lou Koder.
