A LOOK AT LAST TIME OUT
Tarleton split a road doubleheader at Texas A&M International last Tuesday. The TexAnns fell in game one before turning around to blank the Dustdevils in game two behind the fourth complete-game shutout from Megan Rosewell this year.
TEXANNS IN THE NATIONAL RANKINGS
The TexAnns have moved up two more spots in the National Fastpitch Coaches Association to No. 16 in the latest rankings. It’s the fourth straight week for Tarleton in the poll after debuting at No. 25. It’s the seventh week in school history that the TexAnns have been a national top 20 team. It’s also the first time in program history that Tarleton has graced the top 20 in three consecutive weeks.
MILESTONE WATCH: Nyka Wood
Nyka Wood, who is already the school’s all-time leader in RBI, doubles, and games played, is currently closing in on the following school records:

• Total Bases – Wood is 32 total bases shy of passing Arianna Rodriguez (388) for the most total bases in program history.
