Tickets on sale for NCAA Regional Baseball Tournament; Texans take on Buffs Thursday at 7 pm

STEPHENVILLE – Ticket information and game times have been set for this weekend’s NCAA South Central Regional Tournament at Wilder Park in Canyon.

Tarleton will start its national postseason run with a rematch of last weekend’s Lone Star Conference Tournament Championship game as the Texans take on tournament host West Texas A&M on Thursday at 7 p.m. The tournament is a six-team, double-elimination event.

The complete schedule is as follows:

Thursday, May 17
Game 3*: (3) St. Edward’s vs (4) Colorado Mines at 11 a.m.
Game 2: (2) Colorado Mesa vs (5) Texas A&M-Kingsville at 3 p.m.
Game 1*: (1) West Texas A&M vs (6) Tarleton at 7 p.m.
*As the host institution, West Texas A&M had the right to switch game times from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Friday, May 18
Game 4: Game 1 Loser vs Game 2 Loser at 11 a.m.
Game 5: Game 1 Winner vs Game 3 Loser at 3 p.m.
Game 6: Game 2 Winner vs Game 3 Winner at 7 p.m.

Saturday, May 19
Game 7: Game 5 Winner vs Game 6 Winner at 11 a.m.
Game 8: Game 4 Winner vs Game 6 Loser at 3 p.m.
Game 9: Game 7 Loser vs Game 8 Winner at 7 p.m.

Sunday, May 20
Game 10: Game 7 Winner vs Game 9 Winner at 12 p.m.
Game 11: Game 10 Rematch (If Necessary) at 4 p.m.

Both reserved and general admission tickets will be sold daily. Admission will be $15 per day for adult reserved seating and $5 per day for adult general admission. Student tickets are $3 per day with a valid ID while children age 2 and under will get in free. Tickets are available online at wtamubuffstix.universitytickets.com and the box office will open an hour and a half before game time each day.

Tarleton earned the No. 6 seed in the region tournament with the automatic bid from winning the Lone Star Conference Tournament Championship last weekend. This is the fourth NCAA regional tournament appearance for Tarleton and first since 2014.
