Midlothian Heritage @ Stephenville
It’s beginning to seem that every game the Stephenville Yellow Jackets play is a “big one” and this Friday night is no different as they play host to Midlothian Heritage at Tarleton’s Memorial Stadium.
This “big one” is a measuring stick as both teams have common opponents in Gatesville and Waco La Vega who are also the Jackets’ district opponents. The Jaguars are 3-0 and beat Gatesville 21-6 they also play Waco La Vega next week.

Both teams bring explosive offenses to the field with Stephenville scoring 117 points through three games while the Jaguars have put up 112. Defensively Midlothian appears to have the edge allowing just 34 points while the Jackets have allowed 89.

DeLeon @ Comanche
DeLeon’s Bearcats were upset last week by Dublin and dropped from #4 to #7 in the TexasFootball.com rankings and travel to Comanche this week.
The Indians are 1-2 on the season but did pick up their first win 20-0 last week against Clyde. Comanche has been struggling on offense while the defense has allowed just 14 points the previous two weeks.

The Bearcats’ offense has been a step away from putting up huge numbers and last week’s loss may be the motivation DeLeon needs to take things to the next level.

Hico @ Thrall
The Tigers are 0-2 after losing senior quarterback Briley Johnson in the preseason and dropping games against Dublin 45-28 and 7-0 at Hamilton.
Hico is coming off a bye week which has given the Tigers time to heal up and look over some new schemes to take advantage of the talent available.

The Bobcats aren’t doing bad for a first-year program at 3-0 while Lingleville is struggling at 0-2. This will be one of those games about bragging rights and should provide fans with plenty of coffee shop talk.

Three Way @ Blanket
The Three Way Braves are short-handed this season and are traveling to Blanket looking for their first win after rough games against Gustine and Morgan. Lightning stopped their game against Lingleville and lightning is what Three way needs to get their offense rolling.

FAITH @ FEAST Home School
