Stephenville High School Kade Renfro and Gabie Lucero have been named this week’s Dairy Queen Players of the Week after their performances in matches and games last week.
Renfro got his first start under center and led Stephenville to a 48-8 thrashing of previously unbeaten 5A Georgetown. The junior quarterback completed 17 of 21 passing attempting including 15 of his last 17 attempts for 229 yards and three touchdowns.
Lucero came up big in matches against Mineral Wells and Glen Rose as she recorded 12 digs in a win against the Lady Rams and 11 digs in a loss to the Lady Tigers.
