Tickets on sale now for Saturday’s Texan Football playoff game vs. Azusa Pacific

Reserved ticket holders have until 5 p.m. Tuesday to claim their seats; Students can pick up free tickets at Rudder Way Ticket Booth while supplies last

Tickets are now on sale for the first-ever NCAA playoff football game in Stephenville. The Texans, who earned the No. 2 seed in Super Region 4, will host Azusa Pacific Saturday at 1 p.m.

Reserved season ticket holders will have until 5 p.m. on Tuesday to claim their seats before they become open to the public. Contact (254) 968-1832 to confirm the seat reservation. All other reserved tickets can be purchased prior to the game by for $12 at the Tarleton Athletics Ticket Office or online at TarletonSports.com/Tickets. Any remaining reserved tickets will be available on game day for $15 at the gate.

General admission tickets are $10 for adult and $5 for students. Only children five and under get in free.

Since this is an NCAA-hosted playoff event, the local rules regarding free admission for Tarleton students cannot be put into effect. However, the Tarleton Athletics department has purchased 1,000 free tickets for students. Those can be collected at the Rudder Way Ticket Booth, formerly the Tarleton Police Station, any time this week while supplies last. Students must present a valid ID. One ticket per student.

Spaces for tailgating are also on sale. Tailgate reservations can be made while spaces last by calling 254-968-9912.

The Tarleton Athletics Ticket Office is located in Wisdom Gym and will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day this week and can be contacted via telephone at (254) 968-1832. The Rudder Way Ticket Booth will also be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. this week.
